At this family-owned business, Twisted Cafe serves fresh foods, pastries, and spectacular coffee from Rituals. When I first entered the cafe I was shocked by the size of it. The coffee shop itself is quite small with an L-shaped bay window and 4 chairs. Originally when I searched it up on Google Maps, the size was off-putting and ultimately the reason I waited so long to try out this fantastic cafe. When I finally tried it out I saw that the cafe was much more than the bay window and the 4 chairs! Plenty of outside seating allowed many more customers to enjoy this delightful cafe. One seating section is even surrounding a fire pit which I like to sit at when it gets cold at night. Unlike many other cafes, Twisted is open until 10 p.m. every day. This was amazing for me since i'm an athlete and have practices running late after the already long school days I'm still able to go home, eat dinner, and come back out to do my homework.

For me personally, I will not be getting any work done in my house. I have tried many times before and it simply doesn't work. How can I study for calculus when I could instead be sitting in my bed watching New Girl. I can't. It's an impossible ask. This is why I was so frustrated with all the coffee shops that are only open until 3 or 4 pm. Once I discovered Twisted, my family hardly ever saw me again. I was actually excited to go do my homework. My daily routine turned into school, Lax practice, possibly go home for dinner (or just get a panini or salmon avocado toast from twisted), and then sit at twisted until 10 pm. I think i've tried almost everything on their menu at this point. My usual is an Oat milk cappuccino with two pumps of vanilla, which the amazing staff quickly came to remember, but I also tried their golden goddess smoothie, their very berry smoothie (I love this one), caprese sandwich, goat cheese, prosciutto, and fig balsamic toast, tea, cold brew, iced matcha, strawberry matcha, iced white chocolate mocha, croissants and so much more.

I think it would be the biggest understatement in the world to say that the employees here are nice. They are spectacular. The owner usually works the late night shifts and then another great employee on the days that the owner is not there. They put so much care and effort into each drink and snack.

If your a tourist looking for a coffee shop I have amazing news for you. The shop is connected to a Hotel, so... two for one! You now have a place to stay and a place to get your morning (and night time) coffee. Twisted is a must see shop and so far my favorite shop.
