Motoring Coffee is probably one of the coolest cafés in SF, especially if you're into cars or just looking for a unique spot to grab a cup of coffee. Not to mention, they don't charge extra for alternative milk! (Definitely a selling point for me.)

As soon as you walk in, you notice the very nice modern vibe—plus, there’s a literal car parked inside. They switch the car pretty often, ranging from vintage Porches to the newest BMW series. It’s like a mix of a coffee shop and a car museum, totally unique from your usual Starbucks or local café.

The coffee itself is delicious as well. I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk—not too sweet and very rich in flavor. And I didn't spend my last pennies on the oat milk!

They have some pastries and sandwiches from Saltwater Bakeshop. They were a little expensive but pretty good too.

It’s also a great place to just hang out.

The WiFi is fast, and they have tons of outlets, so if you need to study or just scroll through your phone for a while, it’s perfect. They even play Formula 1 races and bike races on a big screen, which adds to the whole car-themed aesthetic. If you're into cars, there’s a membership club where people talk about all things automotive, but you don’t have to be a hardcore car fan to enjoy the place.

The only downside? It can get pretty busy, especially on the weekends. With people looking at the cars and merch and others just trying to get their morning coffee, it can get quite crowded. I'd say it's more of a place to go to for the experience rather than an everyday coffee kind of vibe.

But if you go on a weekday, it's way more chill. Overall, Motoring Coffee is definitely a spot worth checking out—whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for a cool new place to grab a coffee.
