ABout Me

Hi!

My name is Tia. I am a coffee enthusiast from the Bay Area. I hope to help other coffee lovers find their new spot in the area or get new coffee connoisseurs to experience the joy that comes from the perfect cup of coffee. ​

My love for coffee started in the 5th grade when I created Tiachinos. When I turned 11 years old I had my first caramel macchiato. It was the best thing I had ever tasted, and I decided I needed one daily. Although I was pleasantly surprised with my discovery, I couldn’t seem to enjoy it. I felt like I had robbed myself of years of treasure. In an attempt to make up for all my coffeeless days, I

created my first of many business ideas. The Tiachino was a Tia original coffee-based drink with milk, vanilla, and hints of cinnamon. It was perfection in a cup. I sold it well into the 6th grade until I retired it for a new project.

When I started my first year of high school and wanted to buy coffee every day, I quickly realized that I needed a job. So I got one. At Peets Coffee and Tea! My work felt like anything but a job. I mastered my latte art and concocted elaborate and mysterious drinks.

Now I am in my last year of high school. I have recently left Peet's to see what else is out there, but I haven't lost my desire and passion for coffee. This is why I decided to start my blog!
